The culmination of 40 years of Breaking and movement exploration, The Musician & The Mover is one of Xavier’s most meaningful works to date, highlighting African American improvisational street forms: Breaking and Jazz music. With original music, spoken word and text, this work embodies the dedication of an artists life to his practice and pays homage to those who came before.
